PHILOSOPHY

The term 'philosophy' has come to mean a wide range of things to scholars and laymen alike. Under the rubric 'philosophy' is included, e.g., the study of the major works of recognised philosophers of the Western and Eastern traditions, the study of philosophers' thoughts on specifically philosophical issues and topics, mysticism and occultism, spirituality, and such activity as modern analytic philosophy. Sri Aurobindo's philosophy may be considered as dealing in most of these.
